Recently completed my IBT training with Mick Finlay at road training. Mick is a top class instructor covering all items in detail with a big emphasis on practical rear world situations and reactions. Instruction is stress free and good fun and Mick will give you the confidence to get out on a bike yourself. 100% recommended.

I have completed my IBT with Mick Finlay only few weeks ago and I could not be happier! If I would have to do IBT all over again I would look no further! The whole training was very informative as well as fun! Mick is a really great instructor. His patience, knowledge and kindness made me to overcome my fears and gain confidence on the road!

Just completed IBT Training with Mick Finlay recently. I have to say I was a bit nervous but I was really impressed with the instruction and the patience and the "can do" attitude of Mick. His knowledge of all aspects of the course is second to none. Just has "the knack" ..when I finished the training I was able to ride with confidence and my perception of rod hazards and road positioning which Mick drilled in to me will stay with me long into the future. well I'm only back on motor bikes just over a year an I done my IBT with mick Finlay back then. then came along the full bike test date which was today, I done a pre test with mick a few days ago, then another hour pre test this morning with the hire of one of his bikes. I can only speak very highly of this man for his professionalism and excellent way of teaching, even if you have learning difficulties or difficulty in understanding certain things which I see myself as having :) he will work around it an explain it in an easier way in more detail so that you will understand so you'll be really ready for your test. he's very friendly and VERY good at what he does here for a living an you have a laugh along the way while your doing your IBT or pre tests with mick. so its not all stress & panic. he makes you feel relaxed by his funny personality so you can concentrate on what your being thought an to be a safe rider out there. I just cant speak highly enough for this man. id be here all day. I think if your looking for a top notch instructor to get you to where you wanna be id highly recommend booking mick Finlay for your IBT or pre test, he'll put you right. an well worth the money. I will be recommending anyone I know personally who's getting into bikes from here on out to go to no other than mick. thanks to mick I passed my test today in NASS, my upmost respect goes out to that man. all the best mick

I recently did my IBT with Mick Finlay. I had never been on a bike before. I have to say that he is a fantastic teacher. He teaches everything in a very practical way which made it easier for me to learn. The whole experience was very informative and very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Mick to anyone who was thinking of taking up bikes.

I recently completed my IBT with Mick Finlay. Being new to motorbikes I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. Mick is very practical and keeps instructions clear and precise with a high focus on safety. I completed my IBT course with Mick Finlay in December 2016. I have never driven a car, nor a bike before so was admittedly a rather nervous student. I always had a passion to be able to ride a bike safely and take myself around the country with the wind in my face. I searched around for quite some time and eventually found Mick, it was the best decision I could have made. I was also rather lucky he had the time, over a few weekends in the month of December to take me under his wing. I was rather scared but also deep down I knew I really wanted to succeed. Mick was incredibly patient with me, where most would have snapped and given up on me. I was a slow learner, and it took hours for me to get to grips with stopping and starting the bike - Mick was so good at making me feel comfortable and I did eventually manage to proceed to completing the course. Not at any point did he rush me, and ended up staying extra time with me until he was comfortable with my progress. I could not recommended him enough!

Mick took me under his wing for Basic training and and then the AXA insurance advanced training module which he is approved to teach and and means cheap insurance when complete! I booked Mick for a pre test refresher course last week ( 1st bike driving test ) and pretty much got an A plus thanks to Mick. He is a super teacher and I looked forward to his lessons. just compleated my training with mick Finlay in Kildare yesterday and what can I say this man is A legend . He made me feel comfortable and relaxed right from the get go. all his bikes are in tip-top condition and The man has bags of knowledge and a wide range of skills to offer any rider . THANKS again mick for an enjoyable but educational few day.
